Installing

This chapter introduces the concept of software installation on Microsoft Windows, how to adjust proxy settings in a corporate environment, and how to deploy PDF to AFP Converter (PDF2AFP) in a centralized environment.

Before installing the PDF2AFP software, please make sure that the following hardware requirements are met,

Intel or AMD processor 1.7GHZ or better

200MB free disk space

1024x768 or higher resolution for Display Monitor

Microsoft Windows 11/10/8.1/8/7/Vista/XP/2003/2008/2012 Server [32bit/64bit]

Adobe Reader installed

PDF to AFP Converter working on Windows 64-bit operating systems outperform approximately 30% in performance over working on 32-bit operating systems.

Note: This PDF2AFP conversion software run on Microsoft Windows NT based operating systems only, and it cannot be launched on OS/390, z/OS, Linux, Solaris, UNIX, or AIX systems.
