In the Conversion Options area, you can customize the file extension for output AFP file. This feature is most frequently used when users wish to distinguish AFP document, page segment, medium overlay, and overlay with the different file extensions on Microsoft Windows 10/8.1/8/7/2000/XP/2003/Vista/2008/2012 and later operating systems.

 

The default file extensions are,

 

AFP Document: *.afp, *.AFP

AFP Page Segment: *.psg,*.PSG

AFP Medium Overlay: *.oly,*.OLY

AFP Overlay: *.oly,*.OLY

 

 

An important option is the conversion optimization mode; you can choose either High Quality or High Speed.

 

High Quality uses industrial-strength PDF to AFP transform algorithms.

 

High Speed optimizes the conversion work flow, and generates the AFP documents at high speed.
