An input folder and a non-IPDS printer comprise an association for IPDS printing emulation. You can create as many associations as you want. However, you might probably need to configure a base folder, and each sub folder names after the emulated printer like,

C:\IPDSEmulation is the base folder

C:\IPDSEmulation\EPSON Stylus Pro 7910 is the sub folder for EPSON Stylus Pro 7910 printer. Once a AFP/IPDS file comes into this folder, and it get printed out on EPSON Stylus Pro 7910 printer. It can be said that this folder is assigned to the EPSON Sylus Pro 7910 printer, and this folder can be deemed as a tray of the printer.
