Q: Why some PDF documents are converted to AFP files incorrectly? Black background, white text.

AFP to PDF Converter and AFP2PDF Transform Server offer both Optimized by Speed and Optimized by Quality conversion modes.

When Optimized by Speed is selected, the AcroPDF printer will be used in the conversion. AcroPDF is optimized for speed, and the produced PDF files might be a wierd black and white up side down document. In most cases you find black background and white text. In rare cases you find slanted images, shifted text across images.

To solve the problem, simply switch to the Optimized by Quality conversion mode. This conversion mode guarantees quality PDF output.
