Q: How can I convert several AFP reports into JPG or TIF images page by page?

 

Answer:

AFP to TIFF Converter and AFP2TIFF Transform Server allow you to convert an AFP report to JPEG or TIFF images. For example, you have an AFP report with 10 pages, and you will get each page as a separate image file. The file name is followed by a sequence of page numbers like, report001.jpg, report002.jpg, report003.jpg, ..., report009.jpg, report010.jpg.

You can define the length of the page number suffix in the Advanced Options dialog,

Change File Name Pattern to the style that you prefer. You can even use Document<FileName>MyText<PageNumberPadding>MyOtherText.tiff as the file name.

In the above setup, if the name of your AFP file is MonthlyReport.AFP, you will get DocumentMonthlyReportMyText001.MyOtherText.tiff as the file name of the first page, and DocumentMonthlyReportMyText002.MyOtherText.tiff as the one of the second page.
